If ya missed it, join us this week, or next week, or every week for that matter - we're rolling every Friday Nite!!

TV 5 came out and took some action pics for an upcoming story on skating in SLC.

The group started at Liberty Park. As we geared up a local SLC police officer rolled by and commented that .."we looked like we were up to no good!" He grinned at us(our group comprised of engineers, ski instructors, architects, professionals, kids, and business persons alike), and told us to have a great time! We did!! Apparently, in our skate garb we look pretty wicked & hip! We rolled outta the park and headed towards downtown using the usual route. Pretty smooth skating, though 800 south could use a sweep - note to self to contact City maintenance.

We made great time, and just as the sun dipped off in the west, we rounded the north end of Gateway Plaza. No entertainment on tonights roll (sometimes we swoop in to catch a bit of local talent - free music on Friday nights). Made our way south along 400 West, with a quick diversion thru Gallivan Center where we chattd with a friendly (lonely) security guard about summer concert series - which will happen on Wed & Thrus evenings this season for those intereseted.

The smell of fresh pasteries lured us into the Bakery on 300 E, followed by a final re-hydration stop at the artesian well on 800 south. We returned to Liberty Park inside of an hour. Our evening concluded afterwards with a casual stop afterwards for organic chai latte's and dinner at Salt Lake Coffee Break on 400 S.

Join us this week - weather is getting warmer!! Time to get those skates out and get rolling.
